Measuring Mindset in Undergraduate STEM Students

We are a research team at the University of Georgia inviting you to participate in a research study about how undergraduates think about intelligence.

Prior research has shown that how students think about intelligence impacts their academic behaviors and performance. We are designing a new survey to measure what undergraduates think about intelligence. This survey may be used by instructors to improve their teaching, by researchers to better understand student success, and by practitioners to develop interventions to improve student success. We have developed a draft of the survey and need to collect responses to it in order to analyze how well it works and improve it.

Your participation in this study would involve filling out a survey about how you think about intelligence, which should take you less than 30 minutes to complete, and you will be compensated with a $10 gift card to Amazon, Starbucks, or Walmart. If you are interested, please follow this link for more information and to take the survey: https://ugeorgia.ca1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_8DkJ419QLT6zG4J

Thank you for considering this request. We look forward to receiving your vital input!
